A MUDDY Karl Fisher forges ahead of his rivals on his way to victory in the 250cc four-stroke class at Wisbech and District Kart Racing Club’s first winter series meet.

Fisher handled the conditions at King’s Lynn’s Norfolk Arena expertly to pip Ashley Hornigold and James Fisher to the prize.

Frankie Wright won the 70cc juniors on count back after a thrilling battle with Liam Foreman, while an inspired Alex Ward won the 90cc juniors by amassing 96 points.

Joshua Smith claimed four wins and a third place to top the podium in the 125cc four-stroke juniors and George Carter won the senior section with 90 points.

The 250cc open class produced the standout performance of the day from Shaun Everard. The racer dominated the field, bagging all five wins to finish with a maximum 100 points and the trophy.
