Bartlett hopes March Town United can get back sharpness in time for Great Yarmouth Town clash

March Town United manager Chris Bartlett admits his side lacked sharpness against King's Lynn Town Reserves ... but he says they will be "right on it" when they host Great Yarmouth Town on Saturday.
After four weeks of inactivity, the Hares were grateful to get back out on the pitch, but things did not go to plan.
The Linnets led at the break through Luke Biles. Ten minutes after half time, Jack Frohawk gave the hosts a two goal lead.
Denny Escorcio pulled one back for March but Frohawk’s second goal sealed a 3-1 win.
The result leaves the Hares seventh in the Thurlow Nunn First Division.
Bartlett said: “It was our first game since December 13 and there’s been a lot of inactivity over that period.
“It was good to get a game under our belts but we were a bit lax, not quite at it. I’d say we were at 70 per cent of what we are capable of.
“We didn’t have quite enough energy and sharpness. In fairness, King’s Lynn didn’t look sharp either, but they scored at good times.
“We started the second half a bit better but they scored their second 10 minutes in. We pulled one back a bit too late and chasing the equaliser got exposed for the third.”
More frustration was to come for March with last night’s Cambs Invitation Cup clash with Histon falling foul of the weather.
Bartlett said: “It’s desperately frustrating. We were hoping Dan Woods and Lewis McManus, who because of call-offs were suspended on Saturday, would get 90 minutes in their legs.”
March and Great Yarmouth Town drew 1-1 in a tight encounter in October.
One player who will not feature is Juliano Menezes. Otherwise, Bartlett hopes to have a strong squad at his disposal for what he expects will be a “very tough” game.
He said: “Great Yarmouth Town are a very good team who have added even more quality to their ranks recently.
“We expect a very tough game. We may be lacking sharpness but when Saturday comes round we will be right on it.”
