Craig Gillies bagged a brace but Chatteris Town were made to pay for their wastefulness in front of goal as Paxton pegged them back twice to earn a 2-2 draw.

Manager Ashley Taylor said: “For us it was two points dropped and a very good point for them. We dominated the game and should have been out of sight but things just didn’t go our way in front of goal and they scored in the very last minute.

“It’s frustrating conceding a last minute goal but we are a young team and always learning. Next time we find ourselves defending a one goal lead we must use this experience and come away with three points.”
