March Athletics Club packed their bags – and their suncream – and set off to sunny Majorca to take part in the island’s 10 kilometre race.
With perfect weather conditions and a warm 20 degrees, first home for the club was Clyde Stratton who crossed the line in 46 minutes 35 seconds.
Dawn Veal did it for the ladies in 52 minutes.
Harry Littlemore ran home with a time of 48 minutes and 16 seconds, Stephen Cowell finished in 55 minutes and eight seconds, Fay Scrivener ran to an impressive time of 55 minutes and 54 seconds and Tony Whibley achieved a time of one hour, 11 minutes and 58 seconds.
