Fundraising gets in full swing at March Golf Club fun day

Over £1,700 was raised for the East Anglian Air Ambulance as March Golf Club held its first charity fun day.

80 spectators watched on as Gary Wiggins and Jean Alderton fought off competition from 68 other golfers to take victory in the men’s and ladies’ competitions respectively.

Mike Lee (42 points) finished second and Tom Cracknell (41 points) came third in the men’s competition, while Emma Normal came second in the ladies’ competition with 33 points.

The day raised £1,721.67 for EAAA, with sponsors including Clovelly House, Ben Burgess, March Quality Meats, Artistic Metalica and Circle Golf.
