MARCH Town United’s miserable end of the season continued with a demoralising home defeat against Halstead Town.
Ash Brand missed a glorious chance after three minutes to put the Hares ahead.
They were then the architects of their own downfall as they conceded three sloppy goals.
The defeat leaves them 14th in the Thurlow Nunn First Division.
They will hope to restore some pride when they welcome Stowmarket Town to the GER on Saturday.
