Dean Saunders’ goal kept Doddington United firmly in the Kershaw Senior B title hunt with a 1-0 win over Witchford 96 on Saturday.

Leaders Outwell Swifts won 2-1 at Bluntisham Rangers. Jason Day and Aaron Wykes got the goals.

Outwell are six points clear of Barrington, but have played three games more. Doddington are a further five points back, but have a massive six games in hand. Saturday’s clash between Doddington and Barrington could prove crucial in deciding the destination of the title.

In Kershaw Senior A, Ross Alexander and Josh Joyce scored as Chatteris Town drew 2-2 at Great Paxton.

In NMC 1B, Will Grant was on target but Chatteris Town Reserves lost 3-1 to Huntingdon United. Manea United lost 2-1 at St Ives Rangers and Wisbech St Mary Reserves lost 2-0 to Buckden.

March Town United Reserves are through to the semi finals of the Junior Challenge Cup after a stunning 5-1 win at Great Chishill. Dayne Moore (2), David Jackson, Toby Ayres and Thomas Morton got the goals.

In NMC 2B, Ricky Gunns scored then got sent off in Wisbech St Mary A’s 4-4 draw at Little Downham Swifts. Gary Hancock, Martin Wright and Mark Harrison also scored. Mepal Sports lost 3-1 to Brampton Reserves.

Kieran Daplyn and Jack Rooney scored as Wimblington Reserves beat Willingham Wolves 2-0.

Wisbech St Mary B beat Ely Crusaders 3-1. Paul Johnson, Adam Key and Shane Millar got the goals.

In NMC 4B, Julian Young’s goal helped Chatteris Town A draw 1-1 with Isleham Warriors. Upwell Town lost 5-2 at Earith United, Chatteris Fen Tigers lost 2-0 at Lakenheath Casuals and Outwell Swifts Reserves beat Doddington United Reserves 4-2.

Second placed Whittlesey (Coates) Athletic’s Peterborough and District League title challenge was dealt a massive blow with a 2-1 loss at Pinchbeck United. Jake Pell got the goal.

Leverington Sports lost 4-1 to leaders Oakham United, who are a point clear at the top and have two games in hand.

In Division One, Ryan Alexander, Ryan Charalambous, Lewis Clayton and Alfa Jalo scored in Wisbech Town Reserves’ 4-3 win at Peterborough ICA Sports Reserves.

Leaders Whittlesey (Coates) Athletic Reserves drew 1-1 at Ryhall United. Goals from Matt Eaton and Ben Partridge gave Sutton Bridge United a 2-0 win over Netherton United Reserves.

Samuel Moses scored but Long Sutton Athletic lost 3-1 at Warboys Town. Jacob Smith hit a hat-trick as Whittlesey Blue Star beat Oundle Town 3-0.

March Town Ladies are through to the semi final of the Women’s Junior Invitation Cup after winning 3-2 at Sawtry Ladies.

Sawtry went ahead before Emma Searle levelled. The hosts scored again and, with time running out, looked set to knock the Hares out.

But, in the 89th minute, Searle scored her second after good a set piece from Jade Pointer.

In stoppage time, Emma Frost hit a peach of a winner. The Hares host Cambridge Ladies Reserves in the last four.
