Wisbech moved out of the relegation zone with a bonus point 27-21 win over Harlow at Harecroft Road on Saturday.
The hosts scored tries through James Napier, Joe Barfoot, James Patrick and Steve Priest, while Jack Malkin kicked seven points.
Wisbech are now three points ahead of Old Brentwoods in SSE London Three North East, who occupy the final relegation spot, but they have played two games more.
They are level on points with eighth place Wanstead, who have played a game less.
Wisbech will probably have to win both their remaining games at Sudbury on April 5 and at home to Beccles the following Saturday to give themselves a realistic chance of survival.
