Wisbech Town completed a successful week with an impressive 4-1 win over AFC Kempston Rovers at the Elgood’s Fenland Stadium on Saturday.
The Fenmen, who put six goals past Cambridge University Press on Tuesday, surged into a 3-0 half time lead with goals from Tom James, Callum Reed from the spot and Kieron Doherty,
The second half was a more even affair and Kempston pulled a goal back but Reed put the result beyond doubt in the 83rd minute when he dispatched his second penalty of the game.
The Fenmen climb to seventh in the United Counties League. They host Sleaford Town tomorrow.
