Jordan Gill says his fans can expect to see an improved boxer when he steps back in the ring on July 25.

The Chatteris boxer has not competed since he beat Barrington Brown by unanimous points decision in Sheffield on March 28. The 20 year-old extended his perfect professional record to 13 wins.

In the three months since his last bout, Gill has been working hard to improve his armoury of skills. The fans who make the trip to the Derby Arena will get to see the results of his efforts, he says.

Gill said: “I’ve been training hard, working with new guys to develop my strength, speed and fitness.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in there. The fans will definitely see an improved Jordan Gill.”

The show, to be screened live on Channel 5 and US network Spike TV, will be headlined Nick Blackwell who will defend his British middleweight title against Damon Jones.

There is also the exciting prospect on the horizon for Gill of an English Title contest against Southern Area Champion Jamie Speight.

Gill said: “The boxing board have ordered me to fight Jamie for the English Title. Purse bids for that have to be in by July 8.”

Tickets for the Derby show are £35. George Munns and CG Coaches are putting on free coaches to the show. First come, first served. To get hold of a ticket, contact Jordan on 07415 618602.
