The Fen Tigers Goalball team have marked their meteoric rise in the sport by sealing a league title in their first season as a fully-fledged club.
The club’s intermediate team – led by GB stars Laura Perry and Dan Roper - triumphed in the Intermediate Region B Division of the goalball league by a whopping six points, seeing off the challenge of top clubs such as the Cambridge Dons and the London Elephants along the way.
Perry finished the season as top female scorer, notching 31 goals, and the Fen Tigers plan on celebrated their success by launching two more teams later this summer.
