MARCH and District Table Tennis League have been successful in their application for a grant for the 2010-2011 season.
The Community grants scheme awarded �300 to the league, and chairman Michael Bradshaw. The grant will be used by Derek Stacey who acts as the Liaison Officer between League and Club at Neale-Wade Community College in March, which is the training headquarters,
The club will be joined by Mark Mitchell, a coach from the English Table Tennis Association who has previously played for England as they prepare for the season in the eight team March and District League.
The club train every tuesday evening from 7pm until 9 30pm for thirty weeks. Training is open to players of all ages and genders. Training for the new season will begin on 14th September, any players interested in joining can contact Mr Stacey on 01354 652325 before September.
