March Town manager Brett Whaley is looking for a reaction in their big FA Vase revenge mission this Saturday
The Hares travel to higher-level Peterborough Northern Star in the second qualifying round of the national competition, 3pm.
March were beaten 3-2 by the same opponents in the opening round of the FA Vase last season and they go into the latest clash on the back of a heavy loss last weekend.
They were thumped 4-1 by table-toppers Harleston Town in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division North and Whaley did not like what he saw from his side in the drubbing at the GER.
Whaley said: “Last Saturday was the first time the boys have really disappointed me this season and I don’t want to see us beaten in that manner ever again.
“We were the better side in the first half and came in level at the break, but what we produced in the second half was nowhere near good enough.
“Harleston are a decent side who are sitting top of the league and when they started to put us under pressure we simply buckled.

“We won our previous two games and we’ve got to bounce back in another tough test in the Vase against a higher-level Star team. Regardless of the result we have to ensure we compete for 90 minutes.”
Toby Allen hit the March goal to equalise in the first half against Harleston, but it went downhill from there for Whaley’s side.
