Peterborough BCKA fighters proved their class at the prestigious Norfolk Open with a massive medal haul.
Jaden Harris, Freya Molloy and Eddy Paddock led the way with three golds, while Tasha Matthews (2) and Adam Lock (2) returned with two golds.
There were also gold medals for Ashton Brannigan, Colin Lock, Abi Daulton and Nic Shacallis. In total, Peterborough BCKA clinched 34 medals.
Executive instructor Andy Whitwell said: “The Peterborough BCKA were on great form as usual, collecting 34 first place trophies and medals.
“Some of our fighters were unlucky in the judges decisions in my opinion because some of the referees seemed to lack experience, which resulted in points being missed especially with the quicker points fighters, but all in all a very enjoyable event.
“A number of our team are in line to collect Grand Champion trophies at the next Norfolk open event after winning the first two championships.”
Peterborough BCKA fighters are next in action is at the Peterborough series, Werrington on Sunday, June 22.
