Hennells bounces clear of relegation as Fenland Flyers kickstart trampolining season
TRAMPOLINING star Sophie Hennells took her first steps on the National Circuit as Fenland Flyers made an impressive start to the competition season.
Hennells finished a respectable 43rd out of 54 competitors in the National C Under-15 Girls category, keeping her clear of the relegation zone.
The Flyers’ other young stars excelled in the East Midlands Regional competition in Market Harborough. Emma Shearer won her category, while Laura Snowden, Rebecca Hunt, Holly Chaplin and Lauren Holmes were also in good form.
Several club members also represented their schools in the second round of the British Gymnastic Trampoline competitions.
Fenland Flyers, based at Thomas Clarkson Community College in Wisbech, offers trampoline lessons to children of all ages and abilities.
