IT was a good weekend for all but one of March’s hockey sides as every team won apart from the thirds who got thumped 13-1 at Newmarket.

March’s title charge continued with a brace from centre-back and man of the match Ed Batt in a see-saw encounter. Mark Patrick and Ashley Welland scored the side’s other goals. March host already relegated Spalding at Neale-Wade tomorrow with just two points separating the top three sides. Push-back: 2.30pm
