Hockey round-up: Ladies lead the way in successful weekend for March sides
A STUNNING hat-trick from Brian Fox led March III to victory last weekend, with the ladies also notching up a win over local rivals Wisbech III.

March survived a late comeback from the Magpies to bounce back to form with an important win. A brace from Andrew Mills and a superb strike from Ash Welland gave March a three goal cushion and despite conceding two second half goals, they held on for victory.

Brian Fox scored a magnificent hat-trick to help March cruise to victory and maintain their 100 per cent home record. The win was completed by goals from Charlie Boughton and Dan Shirley.

Goalkeeper Toby Odlin was the standout performer for March in a tie dominated by a youthful Boston side. Defenders Simon Welland and Neil Liversedge also put in commanding performances.
