It was a thrilling last day for March Hockey club whose men’s first team won the title while the ladies clinched promotion.

Goals from Laura Mitchell and Cath Fryett gave March a 2-1 lead at the break. However, their promotion dream seemed to be over when St Neots powered into a 3-2 lead with just 20 minutes left. Yet, Libby Wallis’ crucial brace saw March clinch the final promotion spot at St Neots’ expense on a dramatic last day.
