MARCH I are back to winning ways in the Tucker League after a good home victory against Ramsey on Saturday.
Ben Stallworthy (3-42) and Rob Tombs (2-42) were the pick of the March bowlers as Ramsey set a reasonable target of 217-6.
But Andrew Mills once again put March on track with a fine knock of 85. Thanks to the support of fellow opener Jordan Hilliard (32) and Steve Hinson (33), March reached their target with five wickets remaining.
The first team couldn't replicate their winning form on Sunday when they suffered a narrow defeat in Rutland League Division Two.
March's Stuart Mills (4-35) took early wickets but home side, Buckminster recovered to score 216-8.
Again, the March top order started well and Tom Perchard (55), Tombs (34) and Mills (33) put the visitors on track to reach their target.

Richard Green (40 not out) and John Wallis (31) topped the batting figures for March in their CCA match at Barrington on Saturday and pushed their team to a total of 185-6.
And the home side pushed home their advantage with the ball. Youngster Kurt Cunningham bowled superbly to return 4-11 and Green continued his good performance with figures of 3-31.
With Chris Peckett (2-27) also making an impact, Barrington were dismissed 45 runs short of their target.
