Hot shot Mark wins trophy

March marksman Mark Bridgement was the winner of Fenland Gun Club's Fenland Trophy last week.

Bridgement won the 100-target shoot with a score of 81. Doddington's Edgar Davies was second with 79 ahead of third-placed Tom Wenman with 76.

Tim Taylor, also from Doddington, tied for fourth with Robert Albert, of March, when they shot 74.

The next shoot at Washbrooke Farm, Doddington, will be on Sunday (September 16), from 10.30am.
