It was another four-point weekend for the Peterborough Phantoms as they recorded victories at Chelmsford and Telford.Saturday's 2-1 win against fellow play-off hopefuls Telford Tigers came about thanks to a brace from Lewis Buckman, pictured below.Buckman opened the scoring within 30 seconds before doubling the lead early in the second period. The Tigers came back in the third period and a goal from Claude Dumas put the visitors under pressure but the Phantoms held on for victory. The weekend was rounded-off in style when the Phantoms produced a superb third period display to beat Chelmsford Chieftains 6-1.The first period ended goalless and the game was still all-square at the end of the second period, Chieftains' Luke Bramble cancelling out Stefan Rusnak's opener. However, the Phantoms were a different class in the third period and Rusnak's second and goals from Shaun Yardley, Lewis Buckman, Jason Buckman and Steve Maile completed the rout.- THE Phantoms have signed Daniel Ondrejka from HK Piestany of the Slovakian league.Forward Ondrejka has been called in to replace countryman Martin Kivon who has returned home because of family illness.Ondrejka, 20, arrived in the UK on Saturday and is due to make his debut appearance at Milton Keynes tomorrow night.
