FIGHTING Fenman Jake ‘The Snake’ Dyer is among the line-up for one of the region’s biggest boxing championships next month.
The 26-year-old Whittlesey boxer and RAF Marham guard, who served seven years in the Army in places including Iraq and Afghanistan, will fight in front of an estimated 2,000-strong crowd at the British Board of Boxing Control-licensed event on March 9.
The Ramsey-born boxer, who learned to fight at March Amateur Boxing Club, will take part in the event held at Exec Peterborough, at the East of England Showground, will raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund.
“We are excited to have fighter Jake Dyer on the bill,” businessman and backer Rob Barrowman said.
