Chatteris snooker player Joe Perry has bowed out of the International Snooker Championships after losing to John Higgins.
Perry came up against the experienced Higgins yesterday in Daqing, China for a place in the tournament’s semi-finals, but the Scot proved too much for Perry and defeated him 6-3.
Higgins was on course for an easy victory, leading 4-0, before Perry fought back and brought the score to 5-3.
Higgins took the deciding frame, however, and will now face Mark Selby in the semi-finals.
