Joe Perry continued his fine form in the Ladbrokes World Grand Prix by sweeping past Kyren Wilson in the last 16.
The world number 10, who eased past Barry Hawkins in the first round, produced some superb snooker against Wilson – including a break of 125 in the final frame – to seal a 4-1 victory last night (March 10).
Perry won the first frame, before Wilson levelled. The Gentleman then stepped up a gear, producing breaks of 86 and 71 before chalking up an excellent break of 125.
The cueman from Chatteris has dropped just one frame in the tournament so far, and will face Ali Carter for a place in the semi-finals at 2pm today (March 11).
