Chatteris boxing talent Jordan Gill is preparing for an explosive 2017.

The 22-year-old, known as ‘The Thrill’ ditched the chilly temperatures of Fenland in favour of sea and sun at the Ingle Gym in Fuerteventura ahead of a return to the ring in February.

Gill has been out of action since his classy victory over Chris Adaway back in March, but has been keeping in top shape thanks to a strenuous training camp in the heat of the Canary Islands.

The unbeaten fighter also brushed up his skills against one of the finest fighters Britain has to offer - Lee Selby.

Gill was put through his paces by the IBF featherweight champion on December 15, before flying back to the UK and continuing his training in Sheffield.
