There was a top-40 finish for March Athletics Club star Justin Elvidge in the final race of 2016.
Elvidge eased to 40th place in the Ely New Year’s Eve 10k thanks to a speedy time of 39 minutes and 53 seconds.
Toni Alcaraz sealed a personal best time and a second-place finish in the Vet 40 category with a time of 41 minutes and 38 seconds, and Lavinia Seward won the Vet 70 crown with a time of one hour, nine minutes and 41 seconds.
