More than 100 young hockey players turned out to help Ely City Hockey Club raise almost £500 towards much-needed pitch repairs last weekend.
The youngsters went head-to-head in the club’s Junior Hockey Festival, and under 10 and under 13 teams from Ely, March, Newmarket and St Ives all took part.
Training for Ely’s junior section takes place on Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm at the Ely Outdoor Association Astroturf.
