On the pitch, March battled against the wind and a good Deeping side, who opened their account with an early goal.

The visitors continued to push forward and scored five more goals.

March Soccer School under-12s 2 Parson Drove 3

MARCH keeper and man of the match Toby Nulty produced some fine early saves to keep the teams on level terms.

Nathan Bancroft opened the scoring for March, who took their 1-0 lead into the break.

Parson Drove hit back in the second half and levelled the score before Jacob Birt hit a brace to put the visitors 3-1 up.

James Wilson netted a late penalty but Drove held on for the victory.

WHITTLESEY girls continued their good start to the season with an impressive 5-2 away win.

Micky Woloston netted a hat-trick while Emma Lane and Britt Ciarla also hit the target for Whittlesey, who were forced to play part of the game with 10 players because of injury.

St Neots Saints under-12s 3 Chatteris under-12s A 4

CHATTERIS came from behind to beat St Neots and keep their 100 per cent record intact.

Saints opened the scoring but Chatteris bounced back with goals from Dale Browne and Ryan O'Hea to lead 2-1 at the break.

St Neots levelled the scores from the kick-off for the second half but the visitors recovered and Alex Nolan's goal and a Levi Beaney header put them 4-2 ahead.

Saints scored a third to set-up a tense finish but Chatteris held on.
