TEENAGE kickboxer Jade Booth, from March, took gold and silver medals at the BNMA martial arts world championships in London.
Jade, 15, had a busy day fighting in four categories, winning a silver medal in the ladies' adult section in light continuous and taking gold in her weaker semi-contact section by convincingly beating the previous three-time champion and favourite for this year's finals, to become world champion. This is in addition to Jade's European champion titles won earlier this year.
