LIAM Knight was the star for Wisbech Swimming Club in the latest round of the ASA County Championships at the weekend.

Liam, competing in the 12-year-old age group, won seven gold medals, and his impressive haul boosted the 24-strong Wisbech team to a final medal count of 17 gold, seven silver and 10 bronze.

Other gold medal swims came from Ryan Johnson and Dale Brown, who both won two events, Rosie Manning, Matthew Jakeman, Samuel Johnson, Sophie Robinson, Solomon Prestidge and Ellen Williams.
