City of Peterborough III 4 March Ladies II 2
MARCH travelled to Peterborough with only 10 players and without a recognised keeper.
The home side opened the scoring after four minutes but the visitors levelled when Jo Howard's scored her first goal for the team.
March went on to play some excellent hockey and were unlucky to fall behind in the second half.
However, they got back onto level terms once again when player of the match Rachel Wright latched on to Petrina Cartwright's through ball.
