MANEA United’s memorable season continued last night as they defeated fierce rivals Doddington United to lift the North Cambs Junior Cup.
The Cambs BIS 2B outfit pulled off an impressive 2-1 victory at the GER to secure the silverware.
Goals from George Burton and player-manager James Waters fired Manea into a 2-0 lead at half time.
Doddington hit back through Lee Barnett after the break, but Manea hung on to clinch the trophy.
Manea have been enjoying a triumphant season and sit second in Cambs BIS 2B, one place above Doddington.
