March Athletic Club’s Luke Gardner continued his successful running season by adding another under-11 3km title to his collection.
Gardner finished the 3km ‘fun run’ at St Ives in a time of 12.59 minutes, which was enough to claim his fifth title this year and finish in eighth place overall.
Younger brother Matthew, age seven, also from March AC, finished fourth in his age category (under-9) and taking nearly four minutes off last year’s time.
March AC also gained success in the 10km race with an age category win for Lavinia Seward (F70) in one hour five minutes, adding to her ever-growing collection.
Daniel Barber finished the 10km race in 45.17 minutes, Graeme Robertson in 50.02 minutes and Patrick Brown in one hour seven minutes.
