Members of March Athletics Club experienced success in both the track and field last weekend.
Club stalwarts Peter West and Andrew Larham kicked off the club’s successful weekend with an impressive time of 42:36 at the West Pinchbeck 10k, before Matthew, Martin and Luke Gardner travelled to the Biggleswade Track and Field competition.
Like triumphed in the under 13 high jump, while Matthew impressed in the 80m, long jump and vortex throw. Martin competed in the shot and discus.
The family affair continued at the Bourn 3k, with Luke recording a new personal best of 10:28 and Martin finishing the 10k challenge in 52:24. Archie Bullman completed the 3k in 10:29.
Members also travelled to Wales for the Swansea Bay 10k, with Justin and Joice Showell crossing the line in 42:47 and 53:31 respectively, and Mike Boxhall finished in sixth place at the Monster Marathon in Ely in a time of 3:24:40.
