MARCH Golf Club appointed their new captains for the 2011 season at the club’s annual meeting.
Brenda Softley replaces Maureen Pope as the ladies’ captain while Phil Softley steps into Chris Hodson’s shoes to become club captain for the upcoming campaign.
Both were congratulated by the departing captains and now look forward to the new campaign where around 300 members are expected to continue playing golf at the club’s nine-hole course.
Mrs Teresa Layton was appointed the ladies’ vice-captain.
