March Marlins enjoy big personal best spree in Mildenhall and King’s Lynn

March Marlins swimmers clinched eight wins, 12 seconds, 11 thirds and 21 personal bests at the JKH Drainage Gala in Mildenhall.

Competing against Newmarket, First Strokes and Mildenhall, there were personal bests for Nat Cook, Saula Majauskis, Gabriel Gritsenko, Jessica Shaw (also club record), Tilly Carter-Kitchingman, Jack Dawson, Hayden Courten, Charlotte Shaw, Rosetta Schauenburg-Kent, Daniel Bradshaw, Jeremy Courten, Ashleigh Mason, Millie Pearce, Molly McGowen, Tomas Pranauskas and Lydia Gray.

Other swimmers that competed were Lucie Cross, Aiden Gray, Rokas Borusas, Liam Cole, Ciara Mason, Aimee Cross.

Final results were Mildenhall 124 pts, First Strokes 113pts, March and Newmarket both had 102pts.

Five Marlins went to Kings Lynn on Sunday for the West Norfolk Open Meet. It was another successful meet for the swimmers as between them there were six club records, 15 personal bests, 3 golds, 2 silvers, one bronze and seven other medals for being in top six.

Swimmers that attended were Jessica Shaw, Jacob Halls, Sophie Tunley, Gemma McGowen and Molly McGowen.
