It wasn’t the happiest of new years for Mel Mattless and his March Town men.
The Hares were edged 1-0 by local rivals, King’s Lynn Town Reserves, in their first fixture of 2017 at the GER yesterday (January 2).
Nathan Daw netted the decisive goal for Lynn’s second-string to send March to their second consecutive Thurlow Nunn Division One defeat.
Mattless will hope his men can bounce back this Saturday when they travel to Suffolk to take on AFC Sudbury Reserves (3pm).
