Ridgeons First Division: March Town United 3 Ipswich Wanderers 1
MARCH Town United bounced back from last weekend’s 4-0 defeat to Whitton United by beating Ipswich Wanderers 3-1.
Lee Day’s bullet-header from Ben Lemmon’s beautifully flighted corner put the Hares 1-0 in front at the break.
Simon Bates made it 2-0 in the closing stages before the visitors pulled a goal back. However, Ash Brand’s cool lob clinched the Hares’ victory which keeps them eighth in the Ridgeons First Division.
