THE Hares are hoping to build on their 5-1 thumping of table-topping Cambridge University Press in tomorrow night’s Ridgeons First Division Knock-out Cup First Round clash with Saffron Walden Town.
March captain Luke Pepper bagged a hat-trick as his side destroyed Press in a fantastic second-half performance to claim three deserved points.
Goals from Denny Escorcio and an own goal helped the Hares get back on track in style after a disappointing 3-1 home defeat to Stowmarket Town in their last match.
Saffron Walden are seventh in the Ridgeons First Division and sit three places, and four points, ahead of March who have a game in hand on them.
Walden also enjoyed a fine away day on Saturday by thumping Thetford Town 4-0.
The game kicks off at 7.45pm.
