A SINGLE goal separated March Town United from Ridgeons First Division high-flyers Whitton United on Saturday.
The Hares were beaten 1-0 by the Greens - suffering only their second defeat of this season’s league campaign.
March, who exited the Ridgeons League Challenge Cup at the preliminary stage with a 4-2 extra-time defeat to Ely City on Tuesday, had drawn 2-2 with Whitton at the GER earlier in the season.
Brett Whaley’s troops host Fakenham Town on Saturday.
