March Town United lose five-goal thriller in Suffolk

Ridgeons First Division: Stowmarket Town 3 March Town United 2

MARCH Town United were edged out by Stowmarket Town in a five-goal thriller in Suffolk on Saturday.

Jamie Weston’s side travelled to Greens Meadow hoping to get at least a point after the Hares boss challenged his players to pick up four points from their last two games.

However, sixth-placed Stowmarket proved to strong for March and completed their Ridgeons First Division double over Jamie Weston’s inconsistent side this season with a 3-2 victory.

The defeat keeps the Hares in eighth place in the table with just one game left. March host second-from-bottom Downham Town on Monday in their final game of the campaign.
