The Hares Ridgeons League Challenge Cup First Round clash with Ely City has been re-arranged for November 9.

The game was originally scheduled for October 26 but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Robins have had an inconsistent start to their Ridgeons Premier Division campaign but will offer a stern test for a March side who ply their trade one rung below them in the Ridgeons First Division.

March thumped table-topping Cambridge University Press 5-1 on Saturday but were eliminated from the division one knock-out cup at the first hurdle after losing 2-0 to Saffron Walden Town on Tuesday night.

Hares’ boss Jamie Weston boosted his squad this week by completing the signing of Kyle Plumb from King’s Lynn Town.
