March Town United were on the wrong end of another hammering on Saturday.
The Hares shipped a goal inside two minutes and went on to loss 5-0 at Ipswich Wanderers in the Thurlow Nunn First Division. March have shipped 12 goals in their last two games – they were thrashed 7-0 at home by Stowmarket Town the previous week.
Boss Paul Blanchflower says his side needs to learn to switch on from kick off if they are to give themselves a chance in games.
He said: “We have got to stop conceding in the first 10 minutes. It’s something we’ll be looking at in training so we are switched on at the start of games.
“When you concede the body language drops and you find yourself playing catch up.”

Blanchflower says he could not fault the effort of his players against Ipswich.
He said: “The attitude and effort so much better than Stowmarket and in the first half, although we did not have a lot of shots, we got at them.”

March will look to rebuild their fragile confidence when they travel to Dereham Town Reserves, who they drew 0-0 with earlier this month, on Saturday.
One player who will not be involved is keeper Max Flintoff, who has left the club.
Blanchflower said: “We will give it a go but the pitch will be better, which will suit them. Hopefully we can compete.”
