Five swimmers from March Marlins recorded no fewer than nine personal bests in the South Lincs Tulip Open meet in Spalding at the weekend.
Nine-year-old Adam Lifshack swam personal bests in all three of his events, the 50m freestyle, the 50m backstroke and the 50m breaststroke, when he just missed out on a place in the final.
Chloe Jade Coulson, also nine, recorded personal bests in the 50m freestyle and the 50m breaststroke, when she also just missed out on the final.
There were other personal bests for Gavin Lenton, 13, in the 100m breaststroke, Nicola Lenton, 13, in the 100m freestyle and Hannah Lifshack, also 13, in the 100m breaststroke and 100m backstroke.
