Their final game against Cambridge South could prove to be the championship decider.Player of the match John Mair celebrated his 40th birthday with an outstanding performance.March III 2 Wisbech II 4MARCH failed to shake off their relegation worries on Saturday, losing 4-2 to rivals Wisbech II.Wisbech were the better team early on and went 2-0 up after 10 minutes, but the home side battled back with a goal from Andy Bull.March keeper Gary Sandford kept the deficit down to one thanks to an excellent penalty stroke save before the break.However, Wisbech rediscovered their form in the second half and scored twice to go 4-1 up.Chris Peckett's goal and another heroic penalty stroke save from Sandford proved to be little more than consolations.Division Six North WestMarch IV 2 Peterborough V 6PROMOTION-chasing March were given a nasty shock by bottom side Peterborough V on Saturday.The home side found themselves under pressure right from the start and the visitors opened up a 2-0 lead. Substitutes Luke Barton and Nathan Foad made a positive impact on March, who pulled one back through Steve Birt, but Peterborough had the final say of the half, scoring their third.The visitors continued to dominate in the second half and two further goals put them 5-1 up.
