March Town Ladies concluded a successful season with another win – this time in the Hungate six-a-side tournament.
The Ladies, who finished second in the S-Tech Women’s Championship North division, entered two teams in the tournament on Sunday.
One of the sides, the Hares Yellows, was drawn into a tough group and missed out on the semi-finals after a 2-0 defeat in their final game.
The Hares Blues, however, bagged a spot in the final four and took on local rivals, Wisbech Town, for a place in the final.
Louise Barbour and Shannon Kelly found the net in a 2-0 win to send March through to the final, where they secured a 1-0 triumph thanks to a thunderbolt from Kelly.
