More than 100 players take to the course for March Golf Club’s Captain’s Day

MORE than 100 players took to the course as Rick Darville triumphed at March Golf Club’s Captain’s Day.

Club captain Stephen Layton, right, pictured with Paul Corney, Mark Crawley, Stann Dunn and Alan Yorke, welcomed a host of men, ladies and juniors for the competitions.

Darville pipped Martyn Melton and Lewis Ogden to the men’s stableford prize, while Pam Wallis won the ladies contest and Jake Kaval triumphed in the junior section.

More than 70 members and guests also attended the evening dinner and speeches.
