PERFECT conditions meant personal bests on Sunday as more than 250 runners tackled the Thorney 10k.
Fenland Running Club’s Jack Trow (3rd, 34.29) stormed home for a personal best, while fellow members Richard Hammond, Dan Wate, Adam Chown and Ann Trett also notched PBs. Adrian Martin (29th, 39.07) returned from injury with a strong run.
Neil Martin (31st, 39.19) was first home for Thorney Running Club while Wayne Stimson (49th, 41.27) led the way for March Athletic Club.
• FENLAND RC stars Paul Arnold and Maire Irlam won top awards at the Frostbite Friendly League presentation night.
The pair were presented with the male and female ‘runner of the series’ awards by league chairman Adrian Jarvis.
