Wisbech pool champion Andy Lucas added to his illustrious accolade of achievements winning his fourth individual world pool title.
Lucas competed in the IPA World Pool Championships in the senior world championships consisting of the top players in the world.
Andy got off to a great start in the early rounds but saved his best pool for the semi final disposing of top professional Andy Blurton 7 3.
In the final Andy played another legend of the game 2 x world champion Jason Twist. Andy got off to a great start going 3 nil up in the final only to be pegged back to 3 frames all. The world final stayed a tight affair and at 5 frames all Lucas pulled out two world class pots to take the lead. Another chance came in the next frame only to be missed and it was down to the deciding frame.
Andy held his nerve and pulled out a pressure clearance to become world champion once again.
