A HOST of Fenland runners conquered a hilly 15 miles of road racing at Folksworth on Sunday.
First home for Fenland Running Club was Robin Parker, who finished a remarkable seventh in a field of 449 runners with a time of 1.29.52.
This stunning sub six-minute mile pace was good enough to see him first home in the Male Vet 40 category.
Trudy Sayell recorded a personal best time of 1.48.08 - knocking a massive five minutes off her previous year’s effort.
Andrew Larham was the leading performer for March AC, finishing 32nd with a time of 1.39.52. The first lady home for the club was Karen Patterson, who finished 182nd with a time of 1.48.08.
